Yes you can overseed in the spring, preferably in March or April. It is recommended to aerate or use a slit seeder so that the seed has better soil to ground contact, as opposed to broadcast seeding. It is also important to fertilize with a lawn fertilizer when overseeding, but make sure it doesnâ??t contain any weed control chemicals, as these my inhibit the growth of the seedlings.
