What does blue grass look like?

Kentucky Bluegrass is a dark green colored turfgrass with a fine leaf structure that is soft to the touch. Many golf courses use bluegrass on fairways (mowed short) and on the rough (mowed higher). Also, most athletic fields in temperate and northern climates are some variety of Kentucky Bluegrass.
